Intimately Industrial: finds for the home
Long before it's inclusion on the hot-home-trends list, we've been fans of the industrial take on decor. While many stellar spots for food or fashion in our city have adopted the style, it seems that the majority of residential spaces have - until recently - remained more traditional. Adding well-worn metals and woods, alongside warmer textures and finishes, allows a layered feel with depth and personality. We've been pleasantly surprised on recent sourcing trips to see a wide variety of shops carrying items that can easily create a more urban-rustic feel in your space; check out our finds below and keep your eyes peeled at your local vintage or even thrift stores for accessories that will compliment (think vintage trunks that you can add casters to for a coffee or side table, or unassuming worn metal objects for bookends).
